It has been exciting to share the recent posts to all the readers following me in the world. Also, would always love to hear your comments and feedback. Please leave comments and anything else you would like to know about the benefits of meditation that may not have been covered.
The article in the most recent posts made a lot of sense to me. Through science, they are letting me know how the human body is affected by the high vibrational energy that I am channeling into all those that come to my groups.
For me, I see the people instantly start to change around me. Some, can feel the energy during their first meditations with me. Others, cannot feel the energy, but certainly notice the positive changes around them when they go to work the next day. Plus others, about 95% who attend, have the best sleep that same night. I welcome all beginners to my groups. It is an easy meditation to start with, as my meditations are guided for you to follow.
Also, as most of us have western bodies, I encourage those who attend to either sit in chairs or lay on the beds. Nothing worse that getting pins and needles in your legs while meditating.
Also, I give thanks to all those who have joined us throughout the year. There have been some famous people join us also. I have only realised this, when others have mentioned it to me.
For me, everyone is equal. Famous or not, means nothing to me. Everyone is an individual. In this day and age, way too many of us are suffering from stress. My observations show me that stress is the main ingredient that then grows into all sorts of weird and odd illnesses. Everyone seems to suffer differently.
Most of all, when people are stressed, I find they lose their humaness. They seem to go numb on the inside and as the article excerpts I have shared, suggests through scientific research, stress releases bad chemicals through the body that ages you quickly.
Also, I will be posting up live recordings of my meditations soon. Promise. For those that have listened to them, were amazed at the energy they could feel coming through the recordings.
On another note, please place all paper in for recycling. Don’t print what is not necessary. You will be surprised how many trees are cut down to make paper. If we are all conscious of what we do and don’t use coffee paper cups. There will be a lot more trees and forest left on the earth. Have a great Christmas everyone. Hopefully will get a couple more posts up before then.
We found a range of disease-fighting genes were active in the relaxation (meditation) practitioners that were not active in the control group, Dr Herbert Benson, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, who led the research, says.
The good news for the control group with the less-healthy genes is that the research didn’t stop there. The experiment, which showed just how responsive genes are to behaviour, mood and environment, revealed that genes can switch on, just as easily as they switch off.
Harvard researches asked the control group to start practising relaxation methods everyday, says Jake Toby, hypnotherapist at London’s BodyMind Medicine Centre, who teaches clients how to induce the relaxation effect through meditation.
After two months, their bodies began to change: the genes that help fight inflammation, kill diseased cells and protect the body from cancer all began to switch on.

INFLAMMATION
Stress leads to inflammation, a state linked to heart disease, arthritis, asthma and skin conditions such as psoriasis, say researchers at Emory University in the US. Relaxation (meditation) can help prevent and treat such symptoms by switching off the stress response. In this way, one study at McGill University in Canada found that meditation clinically improved the symptoms of psoriasis

BLOOD PRESSURE
A study at Harvard Medical School found that meditation lowered blood pressure by making the body less responsive to stress hormones, in a similar way to blood pressure-lowering medication. Meanwhile a British Medical Journal report found that patients trained how to relax had significantly lower blood pressure.
Meditation has long been lauded. Now science has shown that deep relaxation changes our bodies on a genetic level - for the better. Visit our website channelingmeditation.com. We are based in the Inner West in Sydney.

Irritable bowel syndrome
When patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome began practising a relaxation meditation twice daily, their symptoms of bloating, diarrhoea and constipation improved significantly. The meditation was so effective the researchers at the State University of New York recommended it as an effective treatment.

Immunity - Relaxation and meditation appears to boost immunity in recovering cancer patients. A study at the Ohio State University found that progressive muscular relaxation, when practised daily, reduced the risk of breast cancer recurrence. In another study at Ohio State, a month of relaxation exercises boosted natural killer cells in the elderly, giving them a greater resistance to tumours and to viruses.
Fertility - A study at the University of Western Australia found that women are more likely to conceive during periods when they are relaxed rather than stressed. A study at Trakya University, in Turkey, also found that stress reduces sperm count and motility, suggesting relaxation through meditation may also boost male fertility.
