It has been exciting to share the recent posts to all the readers following me in the world. Also, would always love to hear your comments and feedback. Please leave comments and anything else you would like to know about the benefits of meditation that may not have been covered.
The article in the most recent posts made a lot of sense to me. Through science, they are letting me know how the human body is affected by the high vibrational energy that I am channeling into all those that come to my groups.
For me, I see the people instantly start to change around me. Some, can feel the energy during their first meditations with me. Others, cannot feel the energy, but certainly notice the positive changes around them when they go to work the next day. Plus others, about 95% who attend, have the best sleep that same night. I welcome all beginners to my groups. It is an easy meditation to start with, as my meditations are guided for you to follow.
Also, as most of us have western bodies, I encourage those who attend to either sit in chairs or lay on the beds. Nothing worse that getting pins and needles in your legs while meditating.
Also, I give thanks to all those who have joined us throughout the year. There have been some famous people join us also. I have only realised this, when others have mentioned it to me.
For me, everyone is equal. Famous or not, means nothing to me. Everyone is an individual. In this day and age, way too many of us are suffering from stress. My observations show me that stress is the main ingredient that then grows into all sorts of weird and odd illnesses. Everyone seems to suffer differently.
Most of all, when people are stressed, I find they lose their humaness. They seem to go numb on the inside and as the article excerpts I have shared, suggests through scientific research, stress releases bad chemicals through the body that ages you quickly.
Also, I will be posting up live recordings of my meditations soon. Promise. For those that have listened to them, were amazed at the energy they could feel coming through the recordings.
On another note, please place all paper in for recycling. Don’t print what is not necessary. You will be surprised how many trees are cut down to make paper. If we are all conscious of what we do and don’t use coffee paper cups. There will be a lot more trees and forest left on the earth. Have a great Christmas everyone. Hopefully will get a couple more posts up before then.

We found a range of disease-fighting genes were active in the relaxation (meditation) practitioners that were not active in the control group, Dr Herbert Benson, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, who led the research, says.

The good news for the control group with the less-healthy genes is that the research didn’t stop there. The experiment, which showed just how responsive genes are to behaviour, mood and environment, revealed that genes can switch on, just as easily as they switch off.
Harvard researches asked the control group to start practising relaxation methods everyday, says Jake Toby, hypnotherapist at London’s BodyMind Medicine Centre, who teaches clients how to induce the relaxation effect through meditation.
After two months, their bodies began to change: the genes that help fight inflammation, kill diseased cells and protect the body from cancer all began to switch on.

INFLAMMATION

Stress leads to inflammation, a state linked to heart disease, arthritis, asthma and skin conditions such as psoriasis, say researchers at Emory University in the US. Relaxation (meditation) can help prevent and treat such symptoms by switching off the stress response. In this way, one study at McGill University in Canada found that meditation clinically improved the symptoms of psoriasis

BLOOD PRESSURE

A study at Harvard Medical School found that meditation lowered blood pressure by making the body less responsive to stress hormones, in a similar way to blood pressure-lowering medication. Meanwhile a British Medical Journal report found that patients trained how to relax had significantly lower blood pressure.

Meditation has long been lauded. Now science has shown that deep relaxation changes our bodies on a genetic level - for the better. Visit our website channelingmeditation.com. We are based in the Inner West in Sydney.

Immunity - Relaxation and meditation appears to boost immunity in recovering cancer patients. A study at the Ohio State University found that progressive muscular relaxation, when practised daily, reduced the risk of breast cancer recurrence. In another study at Ohio State, a month of relaxation exercises boosted natural killer cells in the elderly, giving them a greater resistance to tumours and to viruses.

Fertility - A study at the University of Western Australia found that women are more likely to conceive during periods when they are relaxed rather than stressed. A study at Trakya University, in Turkey, also found that stress reduces sperm count and motility, suggesting relaxation through meditation may also boost male fertility.

Mel has started coming to my meditation groups eight weeks ago. When she first came, she was depressed, shaky, unsure of herself and looked pretty washed out. I am glad my sister told her about my meditation sessions and it inspired Mel to come. After the first meditation, Mel did not see nor feel anything during the mediations, but found that she started to feel a little better after the first week. As she kept coming over the next few weeks, attending meditation once a week, she still could not feel the energy within herself nor see anything during the meditation, but found that everything was starting to improve in her life and events and circumstances were changing around her for the better.
She had more energy and clarity to face challenges in her work and her relationship. She was getting more centered, started to find the peace in herself and through that peace she was finding her strength. She really started to shine and looking a lot younger than what she really is. Her passion for life started to get stronger and she exuded an air of health and happiness through her aura.
By the eight session of meditation, she found only then she really started to sleep well at night. Realized that she deserved a lot more respect than what was being offered in her current relationship and as a result felt liberated to be able to move on with her life. After the sixth session of meditation, she started to feel the energy moving through her is short spouts. I love the way she describes it to the group when sharing, as we all have a good laugh about it.
Mel is a great example of how quickly ones life can be improved through meditation. She finds that stressful situations at work no longer bother her as much. Most of all that she lives on a planet called Earth, that we are all responsible for. Most of us tend to forget as most peoples minds are caught up with their own problems. Most of which are not even real. She is truly feeling great in all areas of her life and is living each day now to the fullest and is also being proactive about volunteering in her own time, to helping save our wildlife and our earth.
It is great to see Mel shining bright with health, youthfulness, her humour has returned and she is now in a position to really be able to raise the awareness of all those around her. Not only her friends and workmates, but also the children she teaches each day and interacts with. Now that she is more enlightened, she realises she can contribute a lot also to all those great organisations out there.
The unspoken heroes of our community here in the Sydney and also in the world, individuals like you and I who are helping to save and care for Australian Wildlife and wildlife in all forms around the planet. For those of us who cannot join them, we can at least donate to these great and worthy causes. Mel has passed on information to her colleagues at the school she teaches, to be proactive about raising money to go towards, Save The Koala Foundation (savethekoala.com). For all those of you out there following my blog, please visit this site and donate to be able to save the plight of the koalas in the wild here in Australia. Also stay tuned on this blog as I will start to upload videos so you can hear the positive feedback from the people that join our groups and also the meditation audio’s I will soon start to sell through this blog and our main meditation website. You’ll be impressed at how effective it will be. So stayed tuned for updates and more great news.

The warmer weather has come our way here in Sydney and along with it, more new people have been brave enough to step out of their cosy homes to join us.

Thought it would be a good idea to list some of the points made by the new people joining our groups. Also what they would like to get out of meditation.

• Elena would like more peace and comfort in her life - 11 Aug 09
• Matt wants to be more relaxed and have more compassion - 18 Aug 09
• J wants clarity, energy and more focus in his life - 8 Sept 09
• Prab wants direction, employment and step out of his depression - 8 Sept 09
• Cat wants more energy and to rid herself of the depression and anxiety - 15 Sept 09
• Alice wants to be able to relax and be more positive in life. Also releasing negative thoughts - 15 Sept 09

As they continue with meditation, I will tell you about the great progress that will be made in their lives. Never ceases to amaze me at how powerful, good energy can be. The thought crosses my mind many times, why take drugs when most of the mental problems and ailments can be washed out of us through the high energies shared in meditation groups. Stay posted as I continue to add updates this blog on “The Benefits of Meditation”.

Indian Elephants on Reserve

Indian Elephants on Reserve

The natural wealth of the Indian subcontinent has remained unique, mysterious and fascinating for nature lovers for ages. In Indian philosophy, life in any form is deemed sacred and it is advocated that compassion for all living creatures is essential. The worship of nature in all its different forms is an essential part of their cultural legacy.

The rich and fascinating variety of India’s wildlife can be seen in the 80 national parks, 440 sanctuaries and 23 tiger reserves established by the Government of India in an attempt to conserve this vital resource. More than 500 species of mammals, 1,220 species of birds, 1,600 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 57,000 species of insects populate the subcontinent. India harbours 60% of the world’s wild tiger population, 50% of Asian elephants, 80% of the one-horned rhinoceros and the entire remaining population of the Asiatic lion.

The wildlife reserves in India is a rich source of flora and fauna that helps in the ecological balance in the environment and thus help in the growth of animal and plant kingdom. Thank goodness the Indian Government is awake to this, as we all know of the ever increasing human population explosion in India.

Still considering Zion Wildlife Gardens as a guided meditation tour destination.

Well it’s been two weeks back from my recent trip to New Zealand. It was a much needed break. Now, well, back into life in the city in Sydney. I was excited to get down to Rotorua from Auckland, to enjoy the geothermal spas and have taken some great natural footage whilst there. A local friend took us to a special place called Rainbow Mountain. This will be a must, when I get the meditation tours organised for New Zealand. Great way to decharge the stress from the body, all in half an hour. Nothing like being in a natural pool with temperatures of 39 degrees in the water, on a cold winters night looking up into the night sky to make a wish or two, while watching shooting stars above us. Will get a video uploaded soon once I edit the footage.

Stayed with friends at Piha where the movie “The Piano” was filmed. A beach with black sand. After that we made our way up to Whangherai to visit Zion Wildlife Gardens founded by Craig Busch. Unfortunately they would not allow me to use the video camera on site, but did allow us to use the digital camera, thankfully that Vanessa brought along. Here are some of the recent photos of the beautiful lions, tigers, cheetahs and panther they have on the grounds.

My friends and I did a meditation across the road, late afternoon before our visit to Zion the next day. As the sun was setting, towards the end of the meditation, we felt the great energy of the lions when they started to roar in the distance while the sun was setting. As if they were singing a tribute to the sun. It was such an awesome experience to feel those vibrations through our body.

The spot I will be choosing to guide the meditations will be in front of the white lion enclosure. They have the most beautiful energy I have ever felt. Unfortunately, while I was there, the marketing manager of Zion seemed to be caught up with a film crew, so we did not get a chance to meet. Will be in touch with her soon again, for further discussions. While Chris was guiding our tour, the lions started to roar within a meter and a half of us, and I really could feel the vibrations of the roar clearing my chakras. Most of all the solarplex and the heart chakras. It was an amazing experience, and something I would like to share with others. A great way to get people out of the stress of work and city life, into a sanctuary like Zion that Craig founded and to get connected to the spirit of the lion and tigers. I will continue to add more posts as my concept continues to develop. My efforts are to assist as many people that I can reach, to raise their vibrations and awareness of the great planet we live on, and to start to care for the wonders of nature, that are all around us, outside of our cities. Enjoy the photos.
