George Carlin Comedian

This is an awesome piece.  If you have not read it, take the time to read it now. GEORGE CARLIN (His wife recently died…and George followed her, dying July 2008) Isn’t it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70’s and 80’s - could write something so very eloquent…and so very appropriate.

A Message by George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life. We’ve added years to life not life to years. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We’ve done larger things, but not better things.
We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We’ve conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when
technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete…
• Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
• Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
• Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn’t cost a cent.
• Remember, to say, ‘ I love you ‘ to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
• Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share theprecious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Mother Recovers from Stress, Physical Ailments and Finds a Cure for Cancer, all in our Meditation Sessions!

I  first met Gina and her daughter in a cafe I usually frequent on a Saturday, early afternoon after my meditation groups. She came up to me and asked, “Are you a spiritual lady?” Well, I mentioned…”I am”. She was so excited and let me know of her spiritual experiences in her life. Soon I let them both know of my meditation groups and in a week they joined.

The first week was great. Gina said she felt incredibly comfortable in the energy of our meditation rooms and felt her solar plexus chakra open up. They are so lovely. They joined the group eager and with an open heart ready to receive the healing energy. As a result, their experiences and healing moved rapidly. By the second week they were more positive and relaxed. Every week after that I was watching Gina as she started to connect to her soul energy, that is when I can see the sun shining from her eyes.

She found that her sore knees, subsided and she could move more rapidly and with ease. Gina found the strength to push the people away that were draining in her life and no longer to be slaves to them. She even found the strength to manage a dominant auntie that was suffering from alzeimer’s. Each week she became stronger, more agile and happier.

All up I’d say her and her daughter have been coming for eight weeks now. Gina finally opened up and let me know that she has had a stagnant cancer on her body, that has been there for the past ten years. The doctors had it tested and the results were positive. It appeared as a large red mark on her skin near her tummy. Her daughter came across a cream one afternoon, and suggested her mum try it. I’d say it worked. Within three weeks the red mark had completely healed up. From my observation, where the meditation benefits had come into play here, would be for her daughter Rosa, to even consider or suggest that Gina use this cream. In her normal state of mind, Rosa would not have been clear enough within her thoughts, to even consider suggesting this to her mum before.

Also, in our recent meditation session a few days ago. She could feel the angels touching her face and arms and at the same time felt an incredible love pouring through her. What was amazing about this is, when she shared after the main meditation session, was that everyone that night agreed that they had the same experience, they could feel their angels or spirit guides touching them also.

While writing this article and speaking with Gina on the phone at this moment, she wanted everyone know that there is hope for everyone to experience the same and to join meditation and benefit from the great energy. Having the both of them in our groups is a delight and will write on Rosa shortly, as her example is a unique one, to add to the collection of real life accounts that I am buiding up. Once I complete some of my audios of the live meditation sessions, I will have them for sale on this blog soon. Will keep everyone posted.

Still considering Zion Wildlife Gardens as a guided meditation tour destination.

Well it’s been two weeks back from my recent trip to New Zealand. It was a much needed break. Now, well, back into life in the city in Sydney. I was excited to get down to Rotorua from Auckland, to enjoy the geothermal spas and have taken some great natural footage whilst there. A local friend took us to a special place called Rainbow Mountain. This will be a must, when I get the meditation tours organised for New Zealand. Great way to decharge the stress from the body, all in half an hour. Nothing like being in a natural pool with temperatures of 39 degrees in the water, on a cold winters night looking up into the night sky to make a wish or two, while watching shooting stars above us. Will get a video uploaded soon once I edit the footage.

Stayed with friends at Piha where the movie “The Piano” was filmed. A beach with black sand. After that we made our way up to Whangherai to visit Zion Wildlife Gardens founded by Craig Busch. Unfortunately they would not allow me to use the video camera on site, but did allow us to use the digital camera, thankfully that Vanessa brought along. Here are some of the recent photos of the beautiful lions, tigers, cheetahs and panther they have on the grounds.

My friends and I did a meditation across the road, late afternoon before our visit to Zion the next day. As the sun was setting, towards the end of the meditation, we felt the great energy of the lions when they started to roar in the distance while the sun was setting. As if they were singing a tribute to the sun. It was such an awesome experience to feel those vibrations through our body.

The spot I will be choosing to guide the meditations will be in front of the white lion enclosure. They have the most beautiful energy I have ever felt. Unfortunately, while I was there, the marketing manager of Zion seemed to be caught up with a film crew, so we did not get a chance to meet. Will be in touch with her soon again, for further discussions. While Chris was guiding our tour, the lions started to roar within a meter and a half of us, and I really could feel the vibrations of the roar clearing my chakras. Most of all the solarplex and the heart chakras. It was an amazing experience, and something I would like to share with others. A great way to get people out of the stress of work and city life, into a sanctuary like Zion that Craig founded and to get connected to the spirit of the lion and tigers. I will continue to add more posts as my concept continues to develop. My efforts are to assist as many people that I can reach, to raise their vibrations and awareness of the great planet we live on, and to start to care for the wonders of nature, that are all around us, outside of our cities. Enjoy the photos.

I never move, Just patiently sit, I wait for no-one at all.

I’m home to many, stranger to none, the lungs of the Earth I’ve been called.

both dog and cat will frequent me, I’m shelter from the rain.

The air you breathe has passed through me, and through the cycle again.

Against attack, I have no defences, Still careless man is so relentless.

I stand between both you and the sun. Enduring the elements one by one.

I’m a living monument, A necessity, Just look up, I am…. A tree.
